1,000 farmers protest against the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project

The government has not discussed the social impact assessment for rehabilitation and resettlement as the project is underway.

Farmers' advocate Anand Yagnik said, "The court has not been able to investigate the case for the past five weeks because the Central Government continues to ask for a petition. Hence, we will seek a prosecution of 1,000 farmers who filed the affidavit in the High Court and prohibit this proposal. And tomorrow we will appeal to this case to inquire into an emergency case.
