Mahinda wants to expel foreign diplomats from Sri Lanka

Mainstreaming: There are many international pressures being applied to Sri Lanka in the current political confusion in the country.

Mahinda Rajapaksa was appointed as the new Prime Minister on 26th, after a no-confidence motion was imposed on him.

But there are no MPs who want to make it fail.

As a result, the Mahinda Party supporters are making confusion in the parliamentary sessions so that parliamentary sessions are not held properly.

On the other hand, Ranil Wickremesinghe, who claims to be the Prime Minister of this country, still holds control of the Prime Minister's official residence, the Temple of Aliari, until Mahinda Rajapaksa proves the majority support.

As a result, there are two prime ministers in Sri Lanka. At the same time, international parties are upholding Ranil's side and President Maithripala Sirisena's appointment of the new prime minister is considered to be a violation of the constitution.

On the basis of this, international countries have been employing continuous tensions over the government and President Maithripala Sirisena as a means of protecting democratic rights in Sri Lanka.

Due to these tensions, the Mahinda Party has been continuously blaming internationalism. Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and Speaker Karajayasuriya are dismissed from the international agenda.

In this case, the Foreign Faculty of the University of Raja Gunaratne said that foreign embassies to interfere in the domestic affairs of Sri Lanka should be evicted from the country.

He also said that foreign ambassadors should not interfere in the political issues of Sri Lanka or subject to foreign laws.

But the diplomatic circles have expressed concern that Sri Lanka, who has stayed in full international aid, will be able to further tighten the international standpoint.
